What Is World Tour Mode in Street Fighter 6?
Rather than having a story that progresses along a certain storyline like the previous SF games, World Tour mode adds in a bit of change. In World Tour mode, your avatar is dropped into an open world you can explore. From what CapCom described when they detailed World Tour mode, you will start out in Metro City. You’ll find yourself in a building called Buckler Security. While you are here, you’ll train for a bit with Luke, who was introduced in the last game.
You can also customize your appearance and clothes here!

Can You Play as Street Fighter 6 Characters in World Tour Mode?
As of right now, you are unable to play as any of the characters that Street Fighter 6 is famous for. Currently, you can only play as your personal avatar. However, you will see the rest of the characters as you make your way through the open world portion of the game and explore.
Once you meet up with Ryu and Chun-Li, you can even train under them as you did with Luke and progress yourself even further still. You can use the techniques you learned with them while you battle through the world. From Ryu, you learn the Hadouken move, and from Chun-Li, you learn how to use the Spinning Bird Kick move.
What are the Locations in World Tour Mode?
As of right now, there is only one location in World Tour mode. When you start out in Metro City, you will be staying there to explore. However, more locations will likely be added to the game in future updates and patches!
Street Fighter 6‘s World Tour mode is something the Street Fighter series has never involved before, and it’s super intriguing! I’m sure I’m not alone when I say we can’t wait to try it out!
