Hi-Fi Rush is an action-rhythm game made by Tango Gameworks. The game was announced and also released on the Developer_Direct that was held last week by Microsoft. Hi-Fi Rush quickly became popular and critics alongside players loved its gameplay mechanics and amazing art style. The game also has boss fights, and here is how to beat the Korsica boss in Hi-Fi Rush.
How to Beat Korsica Boss in Hi-Fi Rush
In Hi-Fi Rush you will encounter 6 bosses until the end of the game. Each has a series of unique movements and weaknesses that you must use to beat them. Korsica is the third boss fight of the game, and certainly the most unique of them as well.
Unlike the previous bosses, to beat Korsica you shouldn’t hit her but dodge and parry all the attacks. This is due to the fact that Korsica is not as evil as the rest of Vandelay staff, and she can be reasoned.
Before you encounter Korsica, the game will give you instructions on how to parry an attack in the game. And after playing for a little while, you will face Korsica.
Korsica has three different phases. In the first phase, she uses two sticks to attack you, and all of them must be parried. Above her head, you should be able to see a series of lightning bolts. This lightning bolt indicates how many times she will strike.
For the first attack, a blue and pink ring will appear that you must parry when the pink ring matches the blue one. But after the first parry, you won’t have the rings that would show when to parry. You have to parry on the beat if you want to deal damage. So make sure you are listening closely to the music or keep an eye on Chai health, which also vibrates on the beat of the game.
In the second phase, she will add the green tornado attack which cannot be parried, instead, you have to dodge them. The tornado attack will appear as a purple zigzag above Korsica’s head. So when you see the zigzag, dodge rather than parry.
