With the release of the season Destiny 2Â just around the corner, it is time for the Guardians to complete all the tasks and missions they need to finish. The last quest of Destiny 2‘s current season is the Closing Ceremony, but it seems there is an issue that doesn’t allow players to close this chapter of the game. If you can’t finish the Closing Ceremony in Destiny 2, here is how to complete it.
Destiny 2: How To Complete Closing Ceremony
If you have been playing Destiny 2 or any other live-service game, then you are somehow familiar with the last quest of the season that will wrap up things for the start of the new one. Also, make sure to collect the best LMGs from this season since they may not appear again in the next one. In the case of this season of Destiny 2, you must complete the Closing Ceremony, which isn’t challenging or difficult, but it seems a lot of players can’t finish it due to some bug.
When games have funny bugs that occasionally make enemies stuck somewhere or an NPC does a T pose, everyone will laugh and then move on. But the issue gets serious when the glitches and bugs prevent players from progressing. In case of bugs, there are times when you have to wait for the studio to release a patch and fix it, or you can solve it with a little trick to save you some time. Fortunately, the case of the Closing Ceremony in Destiny 2 can be solved without waiting for Bungie to fix it.
The bug of this quest is that the quest mark will guide you in the wrong direction. Usually, the quest mark tells you to stand on the center of the podium that actually has the wrong insignia that doesn’t match your class. What you have to do here is to look around the podium and find the insignia that represents your character’s class and then stand on it.
You will see the fireworks begin once you stand on the podium with the correct insignia. That is the sign that you’ve successfully completed the Closing Ceremony in Destiny 2 and are ready for the Season of the Deep. Make sure to check our guide on how to get the PlayStation collab items that will be available once the new season starts.
