Want to know how to complete the Gikaku Shrine in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom? Even though most shrines offer players some challenges to test mastery of their abilities, it’s not always there. Sometimes the challenge is outside the shrine, and going inside, you will immediately open the chest and get the Light of Blessing. Gikaku Shrine is one of those because you must complete The Sky Mine Crystal side quest to test your flying skills before you can enter. So if you are ready, we are here to help you and tell you how to complete The Sky Mine Crystal and unlock Gikaku Shrine in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom.
Zelda Tears of the Kingdom: Gikaku Shrine Walkthrough

As we said, Gikaku is a Rauru’s Blessing-type shrine, so the main challenge of this shrine is outside of it. In this case, the prerequisite is The Sky Mine Crystal side quest. And until you complete this quest, you won’t be able to enter.
To start this challenge, head to the central part of the Akkala Highlands and use the Ulri Mountain Skyview Tower. While in the air, look around and fly to the two small sky islands connected by a bridge.

After landing on the island, you must create the structure as in the image above. This flying platform will help you get to the main sky islands. We also recommend having a couple of spare batteries or at least a Sage of Wind Tulin.
Standing on the platform, fly as high as possible and further east towards a group of cruciform sky islands. Once the battery runs out, use the Paraglider and fly to the island. Interact with the green gate at the edge of the lowest island to activate the jumping block that will take you to the side quest.

To accept The Sky Mine Crystal quest in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, go to the island center to stand on the jumping block and jump to the higher island. Thus, you must go through 3 islands. By the way, the cruciform lever will help turn the platform in the right direction (look up to understand which island to fly to). Soon you will reach a small sky island with a green crystal. Pick up the crystal to accept The Sky Mine Crystal quest.
Follow the green glow of the crystal and get to the pedestal in which a new shrine will soon appear. And once you place the crystal in its place, you will complete The Sky Mine Crystal quest and unlock the Gikaku Shrine.
Gikaku Shrine – Final
As we said earlier, upon entering the Gikaku Shrine, you will immediately notice the chest and the final altar. When you open the chest, you will receive only one Ruby. Finally, go to the altar to complete the Gikaku Shrine and get another Light of Blessing.
