Giant Horse Quest Walkthrough in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
You’ll want to visit the Ishokin Shrine in Faron Grassland, located between Faron and Gerudo to start the quest. If there is a Shrine near this location you can teleport there or fly there with the help of the Glider.
After arriving at the Ishokin Shrine, interact with the Shrine and follow the green laser that appears up the hill. Then, when you try to use your Ultrahand on this green crystal, an NPC named Baddek will stop you. He then tells you that the crystal belongs to him and asks you to bring Giant Horse to get it. Then your Ride the Giant Horse mission begins.
How To Complete the Giant Horse Quest
From here, you must find and tame this Giant Horse and bring it to Baddek to complete the mission. You need to have high Stamina to be able to tame this big horse easily. Alternatively, you need to have a potion or food with you that will give you Stamina.
Giant Horse is located on the peninsula between Lake of the Horse God and Ibara Butte, slightly to the right of Ishokin Shrine. To tame Giant Horse, sneak up on him and jump on him. Then start calming him down. When your Stamina gets low, pause the game and use something that will give you Stamina. Then Ride the Giant Horse back to Baddek in the Ishokin Shrine and interact with him.
Dismount the horse when the dialog is over, and take the green crystal to the Shrine below. To do this you will need to use your Ultrahand ability. When you attach this green crystal to the Shrine, the Shrine will open and you will be able to enter. If you want to keep this Giant Horse for yourself, you can go back up and get it after you activate the Shrine. Once you register the horse to a Stable, it will be all yours.
