Completing Tarnished Luster in Diablo 4
After speaking to Reverend Mother Prava in Kyovashad and collecting Vigo’s report, you must travel to Yelesna. You can find Yelesna to the Southeast of Kyovashad. If this is your second character and you’ve already unlocked mounts on your first character, you can make it to Yelesna relatively fast, making Tarnished Luster a bit easier.
If you right-click on the waypoint on your map, you can see a red path on your minimap. This will show you the quickest way to get there while following the trail. Be wary of enemies along the way, as you will encounter many Ghouls and Wargs. Ghouls typically appear in large packs and can be difficult to take on if you are not careful.
When you arrive in Yelesna, you must head to the Knight’s Garrison. You can find the Knight’s Garrison on the West part of Yelesna. It is behind the Blacksmith and Armor Vendor. Approach the Knight’s Garrison and interact with the door to go inside, progress in Tarnished Luster, and find Vigo.
Once you head inside, you will see Captain Ankers. Ankers will immediately ask you what you need from him. He seems somewhat irritated when you tell him that Reverend Mother Prava sent you to search for Vigo. He says that she has been nagging him about a demon all week. Captain Ackers lets you know that Vigo is already gone. An entire Knights escort went missing the previous week, and you can find him in the Mining Camp at Pine Hill. Speaking to Captain Ankers will conclude the Tarnished Luster quest and begin The Knight and the Magpie.
