But if you’re ready, you’ll meet Bridge Guard Gaddison between the bridge and the cliff. Talk to him to accept The Fort at Ja’abu Ridge side quest.
Talking to Gaddison, you will learn that the monsters have established their fort southeast of East Reservoir Lake on the Ja’abu Ridge. In addition, they are strong, as there are Black Bokoblins and even one boss among them. So, to complete The Fort at Ja’abu Ridge side quest in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, you must travel to Ja’abu Ridge and destroy all the monsters in the fort. Here’s how to do it.
- As we said, go southeast of Zora’s Domain until you reach the desired location. Fortunately, the dot on the map will not let you make a mistake.
- Reaching the desired location, you must defeat about ten Bokoblins and one Black Boss Bokoblin.
- Although these are not the worst enemies, we recommend using a bow and arrow to defeat enemies from a distance.

- If you prefer close combat, we advise you to run into the fort, deal a couple of blows, and retreat. Most of these monsters do not leave their fort. So you can restore your health and stamina by going outside the walls.

- Once all the monsters are dead, find the wooden cage and lift it with the Ultrahand to free the prisoner. Talk to the NPC Hino and return to Zora’s Domain.
