Completing the Undertaking Quest in Diablo 4
First, from where The Knight and the Magpie left off, head over to the entrance to the Condemned Mine. It will be lit up with orange light and shining bright. Enter the Condemned Mine to pursue Lilith and Vhenard with Vigo and Neyrelle.
Walk forward in the mine until you encounter the first Elite enemy within the mines. There will be three different Elites, each having different elements. The first will be a Fiery Blood Magus. The Magus’ particular skill type will be Mortar, a fire-type skill. Watch out for the red highlighted circles on the floor as you take this guy out. Just two more Elites and you’ll be finishing up Undertaking.
Next, you will encounter a Shocking Skeleton Archer. This Elite enemy will deal shock damage to you. Be careful of where he is aiming, and always stay moving. Attacking and taking down the Shocking Skeleton Archer is easy if you have any ranged attack ability.
Continue through the Condemned Mines in Diablo 4 to find the next Elite enemy. This time, you will be going up against a Dreadful Skeleton Archer. This Elite can confuse you. Watch out for the red pentagrams painted on the floor. When they spawn, you will become confused and walk the other way if caught in them. This is the final Elite enemy in your way of completing Undertaking.
After you’ve made it past all three Elite enemies and through the mine, head over to the Opening in the cave so that you can escape the mines. This Opening will look like the entrance to the Condemned Mines, lit up and orange. Head through the Opening to complete the Undertaking quest in Diablo 4.
