In each of Sanctuary’s zones, you can complete all these activities to earn as much Renown as possible in Diablo 4. Though, there are certain ways that can make it a bit easier for you. Below is a list of tips that can help you.
- Dungeon clearing is your friend.
- Not only can you collect a decent amount of Renown, but you can also find Aspects there too, which can lead to better legendary or rare items.
- Don’t overlook Strongholds.
- While there are only 3 Stronghold in each of Sanctuary’s zones, they are worth 100 Renown each, more than double what any other activity will reward.
- Side Quests are great, especially if they’re short
- Every Side Quest awards you with the same amount of Renown, which means doing the shortest ones first means you will get Renown quite fast in Diablo 4. In addition, you’ll be able to get quest-specific gear and weapons, which is always a bonus.
- Altars may not be good for right now, but they’re great long-term activities.
- Finding Altars of Lilith, even though they are only worth 10 Renown each, affects your entire account, not just the specific character that you find them on.
- Cellars suck
- Cellars don’t give you any extra Renown and can take away from the time you have to collect Renown in other places. Avoid them if you can.
- Events aren’t the greatest for Renown
- Events are very similar to Cellars. If your goal is to earn Renown fast and easy in Diablo 4, skip the events.
