World of Warcraft: Dragonflight – How to Earn Valor Points

To earn Valor Points, all you need to do is complete any Mythic+ Dungeon and you will be rewarded 135 Valor. And if someone in your group gained Mythic+ Rating after finishing that dungeon, you will also obtain additional 65 Points. As you can expect, that means farming low-level Mythic+ Dungeons is the best way to get Points.

The weekly Valor cap is 1,500 Points, but for one Season, the maximum amount of Valor you can earn will increase by 750 Points each week. Don’t worry if you miss a week, as you can still earn extra Valor in the following week.

Valor Point Costs to Upgrade Mythic+ Gears

Gear between Item Level 376 and 415 will receive a Rank from 1 to 13 when acquired from Mythic+ Dungeons or the Great Vault. Below are the Valor Points cost you need and Mythic+ gears’ level and their requirement to be upgraded:

250 Valor: Shield, Offhand, Ring, Cloak, Bracer, Neck
400 Valor: Trinket, Belt, Shoulders, Gloves, Boots
475 Valor: Helm, Legs, Chest
500 Valor: One-Handed Agility / Strength Weapon
750 Valor: One-Handed Intellect Weapon
1,000 Valor: Two-Handed Weapon
