Where to Find a Hang Glider in Sons of the Forest
As we said, the Hang Glider is new to Sons of the Forest, so even if you went all over the map as you played, you couldn’t find this flying machine until the last patch. Like most other items in Sons of the Forest, you can find one Hang Glider on the island. The exception is the cooperative game because each player can get a Hang Glider.
To find a Hang Glider in Sons of the Forest, head to the snowy peak in the western part of the game map. You can see the specific location in the image above. Having climbed to the top, you will notice two red tents from afar that indicate that you are on the right track. Go around the tents and go to the cliff edge, where you will find a Hang Glider.

How to Use Hang Glider in Sons of the Forest
To use Hang Glider, you must walk up and interact with it. It is worth noting that you must be on a hill to start the flight. There should be no trees, bushes, or rocks near or a couple of meters below you since you will fall to gain speed and start the flight. After that, your character will align the Hang Glider’s flight path, and you will be able to control it.
It’s easy to control the Hang Glider, and here’s how to do it:
- Forward – You lower the nose of the Hang Glider while picking up speed and descending lower.
- Back – You raise the nose of the Hang Glider while gaining altitude and losing some speed.
- Left – Turn left.
- Right – Turn right.
As of 2023, Sons of the Forest is available only on PC.
