Blood Magic can be a cool and interesting addition to your game, since the main idea behind Minecraft is that you can customize your world to be exactly what you want it to be. Mods definitely help quite a bit with this. However, there’s a trick to unlocking the Dark Mage within you and harnessing Blood Magic. Keep reading to learn how to get Blood Magic in Minecraft.

Minecraft: How to Get Blood Magic

In order to use Blood Magic, you’ll have to download the Blood Magic mod for your game. This mod was created by TehNut and WayofTime and can be found on its CurseForge page. The Blood Magic mod’s creators have also stated that if you’d like to greatly increase your gaming experience, you should also download the Just Enough Items mod, which will allow you to check out the recipes of many different items.

Once you’ve downloaded all of the necessary files and performed each of the required tasks to get the mod up and running, you’ll need to download the Guide-API mod as well. This will give you access to the Sanguine Scientiem book, which will provide you with all of the Blood Magic lore, including an introduction to the mod and its exclusive items, like the Sacrificial Knife, the Blood Altar, and the Blood Orb. These items are all required in order to perform Blood Magic in Minecraft.

How to Perform Blood Magic in Minecraft

Once you’ve downloaded everything needed to get access to Blood Magic, you will have gained the ability to make the tier 1 Blood Altar. This can be done by placing down a few items vertically: Stone-> Stone-> Gold Ingot-> space-> Furnace-> Gold Ingot-> Stone-> space-> Gold Ingot.

To craft the Sacrificial Knife, you just need to place 3 glass blocks in the crafting table grid horizontally, with a Gold Ingot in the center spot of the grid. Place a piece of glass directly to the right of the Ingot, then an Iron Ingot and one more Glass.
