Need for Speed Unbound is the latest entry in the racing series of EA that was published rather quietly and without too much marketing. It seems this game was made for the loyal fans of NFS that were waiting for the next game in the series rather than for every pro or casual racing fan. The rules and systems of Need for Speed Unbound are mostly similar to every other racing game, and money plays a huge role in the progression of the game, so here is how to get cash in the game.
How to Get Cash in Need for Speed Unbound
Apart from enjoying racing and beating other players and competitors in races, earning and spending money is the real motive that players spend more time in NFS Unbound. There are many ways to earn and get cash in the game.
The first and probably the best way to earn extra cash in Need for Speed Unbound is to win or be in the top three of all races. In each race depending on your placement, you will earn more or less money. You can spend your earned money to get a better car and guarantee your win in all races.
Once you got better cars, you can start to place wagers and even earn more cash in the game. You would usually place wagers with other players and racers, and if you win, you will get some hefty money.
The other easy and fast way to earn money is to complete challenges. You can check them from the challenges menu, but here are the major ones you should mostly focus on:
- Long Jumps: The higher and longer you can fly with your car by either driving toward a rift or cliff, you will get extra stars that increases the amount of cash you can get.
- Speed Runs: When you pass a checkpoint, the higher your speed is, the higher your average speed through the race would be, which eventually leads to extra cash.
- Speed Traps: Around the city, there are cameras that will snap if you go fast enough and the faster you go, the more stars you will get and eventually more money.
- Drift Zones: There are Drift Zones all over the map and the longer you hold your drift without hitting something, the more cash you earn.
There are other ways like completing missions and collectibles, but they take more time, and the pay is not as good as the three methods mentioned above.
