Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: How to Get Cetoddle Grease
Since Cetoddle is an Ice Type Pokémon, it only makes sense that it can be found in the colder parts of the map. Keep this in mind as you set out to find yourself some Cetoddle Grease, as you’ll have to track down and either catch or defeat a Cetoddle to obtain any grease to be used for crafting TMs.
Cetoddle is a fairly adorable Pokémon in comparison to others, with its fluffy white ball-shaped body and its narwhal horn and flippers. Additionally, Cetoddle is the only Pokémon that you can harvest Cetoddle Grease from in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
Out of all the colder climates, Cetoddle primarily spawns in Glaseado Mountain. Luckily for you, Cetoddle likes to hang out in groups with more of their own kind, so if you’re looking to farm a bunch of Cetoddle Grease, it should be easy once you’ve located them.
Once you’ve located a pack of wild Cetoddles, there are a couple of things you can do to get Cetoddle Grease from them. You can either catch a bunch of them, or you can battle them. In my experience, battling them would be wise, as you won’t waste your Pokéballs, and you can also gain experience from the battles. Either way, you choose, you can obtain anywhere from 1-3 Cetoddle Grease from each Cetoddle that is either caught or defeated.
