Want to know how to get Dreamlight in Disney Dreamlight Valley? As you upgrade and increase your kingdom in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you will have to farm many materials needed for different purposes. You can use some materials for cooking and others for creating decorations and interior elements. But some materials directly affect your passage and the game plot, and Dreamlight is one of them. You will earn some Dreamlight simply by playing Disney Dreamlight Valley, completing various activities in the game, and completing quests. But there are other ways to get this valuable resource, and our guide is here to tell you all the ways to get Dreamlight in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Disney Dreamlight Valley: How to Get Dreamlight
As we all know, Dreamlight is a valuable resource needed for many main activities in the game. Thanks to Dreamlight, you can destroy the biggest Night Thorns to unlock new locations. In addition, Dreamlight will help you complete some story quests and get new characters such as Moana. Therefore, getting a lot of Dreamlight is vital to progressing through the story.
As we said, earning some Dreamlight is relatively easy, as you will get some of this material just by participating in in-game activities. For example, you can cook, unlock new locations, take care of your harvest, and do many other things. But all this sounds too general, and you probably want to know more specifics.
To get Dreamlight in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you can use one of three main methods. Each of them has both advantages and disadvantages, and further, we will talk about each of them.
The first and most basic way is to complete daily quests that will reward you with a small amount of Dreamlight:
- Go to the Dreamlight tab in the in-game menu.
- Next, select the Dreamlight Duties tab.
- Here you will see six simple quests, by completing which you can get some Dreamlight.
- Quests are updated daily, so try to complete them all before the next day.

The second method is somewhat similar to the previous one but differs in that the tasks in this method are much larger and are one-time. To view these tasks, you must go to the same Dreamlight tab. Here, take a look at the list under Dreamlight Duties. All quests are divided into subgroups and are associated with a definite type of activity. For example, by going to the Fishing tab, you will see tasks with this type of activity. Completing all these tasks will take a very long time, but as a result, you will receive a relatively large amount of Dreamlight.
The third method, like the previous one, will help you quickly get many Dreamlight, but controversial in terms of expediency. You can get Dream Shards and then convert them to Dreamlight. You must use the crafting bench located in different places on the game map to do this. For every 10 Dream Shards, you will receive 250 Dreamlights, which is quite a lot to play with. But it is worth noting that Dream Shards are much more difficult to obtain than Dreamlight, and besides, this material is limited in the world. Therefore, try to avoid wasting Dream Shards so that you have enough of this material to complete quests.
Disney Dreamlight Valley is available in Early Access for PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.
