Gibdo Guts are cut out for fusing your weapons and crafting incredibly effective Elixirs. Luckily, getting your hands on this material is pretty straightforward. Read on to know where to find Gibdo Guts and how to get them in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
Gibdo Guts Location in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
To find Gibdo Guts in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you’ll need to visit the Gerudo Desert. A huge sandstorm surrounds this area, and you can barely see around. You can get Gibdo Guts by defeating Gibdos, who are patrolling the Gerudo Desert. Moreover, they come out of the nests, which look like enormous mushrooms sticking up out of the sand. You can easily find Gibdo camps by simply wandering around the sandstorm.
You will also encounter many Gibdo during your quests. First, at Kara Kara Bazaar (coordinates -3269, -2518, 0023), Link must assist Riju in defending against a Gibdo nest. In the second, which takes place shortly after, three Gibdo nests are placed outside of Gerudo Town (coordinates: 3849, -2924, 0044), and Link must aid the Gerudo soldiers in defending the city.
How to Beat Gibdos
The easiest way to defeat Gibdos is to attack them using arrows fused with Fire or Shock elements. Counteracting them will make them take great damage immediately. Your straight melee or ranged attacks will not deal any damage to them unless you fuse your weapon with those elements. Once you attack Gibdos with your fused weaponry, you’ll have them down in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom as soon as possible.
Gibdos are fairly easy enemies to beat if you have the right combination. So, equip your arrows, fuse, and attack. Therefore, you can defeat and loot Gibdos in just seconds. Gibdos only drop Gibdo Guts and Gibdo Bones upon being defeated. We do not think that you will have any difficulty in beating these sand monsters.
What to Do With Gibdo Guts
Gibdo Guts will be very useful as a monster part in crafting elixirs in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. You can also use this material as an armor power-up for the Great Fairies. Unlike Gibdo Guts, Gibdo Bones provides +40 attack power to the weapon they are attached to.
