Want to know how to get Hoppip Leaf in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet? Collecting materials is an integral your gameplay part in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. After all, to give your Pokémon the best moves, you will have to craft dozens of TMs. Luckily, you can get all the materials while hunting down your favorite Pokémon, and Hoppip Leaf is no exception. Using this material, you can craft some good Grass-type TMs like Trailblaze or Bullet Seed and then train your Pokémon with powerful new moves. In addition, getting Hoppip Leaf in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is very easy, and our guide will make the process even easier.
How to Get Hoppip Leaf in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
To get Hoppip Leaf in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, you must defeat or capture Hoppip, Skiploom, or Jumpluff in their habitats. Small and always smiling Hoppip flies through the meadows in the southern part of Paldea. Their bright pink coloration is noticeable from afar, and since they love to fly in flocks, you will have no problem finding them.
After they evolve into Skiploom, these Pokémon’s habitat shifts to the west. At the same time, having evolved into Jumpluff, these Pokémon, like dandelions, are scattered throughout the Paldea region, and even meeting one is problematic. However, walk through the following locations, and you will meet a few:
- Hoppip: South Province (Area One), South Province (Area Two).
- Skiploom: East Province (Area One), East Province (Area Two), South Province (Area Five).
- Jumpluff: North Province (Area One), North Province (Area Three), North Province (Area Two), South Province (Area Six), The Great Crater of Paldea, West Province (Area Three).
As soon as you meet these Pokémon, you must choose the best opponents to win faster. Since Hoppip and other members of its kind are Pokémon Grass and Flying-type, they are weak against Ice-type moves and take a whopping 4x damage from these. At the same time, Fire, Poison, Flying, and Rock-type attacks are less effective but deal double the damage. On the other hand, you should avoid Pokemon with Ground and Grass-type moves. Hoppip and his kin are immune to Ground-type attacks, while Grass-type is only a quarter effective.
