To find Ironshell Crabs in Tears of the Kingdom, you will have to travel all along the shorelines across Hyrule in Tears of the Kingdom. More specifically, you can find these creatures along the shores located both in the Necluda Sea and Faron Sea. They are located both at the east and south of the map, respectively.

The Crabs can be identified by their prominent red color, yellow and blue legs, and orange claws. Since they are fast little creatures, you might have a hard time trying to capture them. Accordingly, you’ll need to be quick to snatch them before their escape into the open sea.

Ironshell Crabs serve as a material that can be added to your favorite recipes. It has the Defense Up effect due to its hard shell. Be sure to add it along with other ingredients to create both dishes and elixirs that will be able to protect you from the several dangers that lie in Hyrule.

After all, even the smallest enemies can knock you out in a couple of swings in Tears of the Kingdom. Protecting yourself with gear and using Defense Up elixirs can help you to endure tough fights.
