There are loads of really interesting and even more so, useful items in Terraria, but one of the best ones to learn how to get is the Magic Mirror. The Magic Mirror can be kept in your inventory in-game and used whenever you want to teleport to your last active spawn point. Your respawn point can be changed by using a bed in different locations throughout the map, so you aren’t limited to only one spawn point to respawn at. Terraria: How to Get the Magic Mirror
You can only find the Magic Mirror in one way, which is fairly annoying, but it’s not that difficult of a process, so don’t worry. The only way to find a Magic Mirror is to collect it from a chest. Though, the chests that have the highest chance of dropping a Magic Mirror are Golden Chests.
There is also a very similar item that was added into the game in Version 1.3. This is the Ice Mirror, and it does the exact same thing that the Magic Mirror does, except it can be found in Ice Chests, rather than just Golden Chests. Though, both mirror types can be used in the crafting of the mobile phone item.
Terraria: How to Use the Magic Mirror
The Magic Mirror is easily one of the best items to be used for fast travel. This is especially helpful when you find yourself in dangerous situations or in a fight that you might not be able to win. All you have to do is simply use the Magic Mirror and teleport yourself safely back to your bed or Spawn Point.
However, when you use the Magic Mirror, you will not instantly teleport, as it takes a moment (or 1.5 seconds) for the mirror to charge up and activate. Though, once it does, it will teleport you to the most recently used Respawn Point used within the world you’re in. You can use the mirror as many times as you want, as there are no charges on it or limits to how many times it can be activated, and it doesn’t cost any mana to use.
