Want to know how to get Roaming Form Gimmighoul in Pokemon Go? More recently, the anime and manga universe of Pokémon is becoming more and more influential every day and turning into a large metaverse. Self-contained projects such as Pokémon Go, Scarlet and Violet, and Pokemon HOME, previously independent of each other, will soon be one for every lover of little creatures. The first hints of such a merger were at the time of the release of the Meltan Box item. But now it’s even more evident because the first Pokemon of the Paldea region from Scarlet and Violet, named Gimmighoul, was announced in Pokemon Go. This little one has two unique forms, and our guide will show you how to get Roaming Form Gimmighoul in Pokémon Go.
How to Get Roaming Form Gimmighoul in Pokémon Go
If you launch Pokémon Go at least a couple of times a week, you can notice strange golden Poké stops. These appeared during the recent Dratini Community Day Classic in-game event. And if you interacted with them, you received mysterious coins. The coins themselves have no value, but cute Gimmighoul will be pursued by the one who collects these coins in the future.
As we said earlier, Gimmighoul is a Ghost-type Pokémon with two forms of appearance. In one form, he hides in a chest, waiting for the players. At the same time, the second form, also known as the Roaming Form Gimmighoul, does not hide and walks around the Paldea region. With bright yellow eyes and a white, black-striped body, Roaming Form Gimmighoul looks a bit like a bee. Gimmighoul looks more like a cute ghost than scary.

But if you want to get this Pokémon as soon as possible, we have bad news. You won’t be able to get Roaming Form Gimmighoul in Pokémon Go until at least early 2023. Access to all cross-game links is not planned until the end of the current year. The same goes for the release of Roaming Form Gimmighoul in Pokémon Go. And here is how the developers themselves commented on it:
“The Nintendo Switch games Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet—slated for release on Friday, November 18, 2022—will link with Pokémon GO! Linking these games will allow you to catch Gimmighoul (Roaming Form) in Pokémon GO. This feature is planned for 2023, so stay tuned for future announcements with more details!”
Unfortunately, the developers did not specify the exact release date for the Pokemon of the Paldea region. But since the developers are already hinting at a new region and the combination of Pokemon Go and Scarlet and Violet, we can expect a global replenishment of the Pokemon library as early as January/February 2023.
Pokemon GO is available on iOS and Android.
