Want to know how to get Starly Feathers in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet? While you can have over 400 Pokémon in Scarlet and Violet, they all have weaknesses. Wild Pokémon often have low to average IV values, and you should only consider each individual’s Nature. Also, the starting moves of a captured Pokémon rarely meet your expectations, and you need a TM to replace these. Luckily, there are over 170 unique TMs in the game, so you’re sure to find what you need. If you decide to teach your Flying-type Pokémon a couple of new moves, you’ll probably need to get Starly Feathers in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, and we’ll help you with that.
How to Get Starly Feathers in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
To get Starly Feathers in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, you must defeat or capture Starly, Staravia, and Staraptor in their habitats. You will get from 1 to 3 Starly Feathers for each win, so saving up for a couple of TMs is not a problem.
As for the habitats of these birds, they are very extensive. All three Starly evolutions live in the western part of the Paldea region. But the older the Starly individuals, the further north they fly. However, visit the following locations, and you will catch all the birds:
- Starly: Casseroya Lake, South Province (Area Two), West Province (Area Two), South Province (Area Four), West Province (Area Three).
- Staravia: Casseroya Lake, South Province (Area Four), South Province (Area Two), West Province (Area Three), West Province (Area Two).
- Staraptor: Casseroya Lake, South Province (Area Two), West Province (Area Two), South Province (Area Four), West Province (Area Three).
Once you meet one of these birds, you should be ready for battle. Despite its rustic and kind appearance, Starly and its evolutions are very strong and used by players in various tournaments. As Normal and Flying-type Pokémon, Starly, Staravia, and Staraptor are weak against Electric, Ice, and Rock-type moves and take 2x damage from these. So use Pokemon trained in these moves if you want to farm Starly Feathers. In addition, all Starly evolutions are immune to Ground and Ghost-type attacks. So Pokémon with this move’s type are useless against Starly, Staravia, and Staraptor.
