In Fire Emblem Engage, there is no shortage of characters to play with. In the case of Yunaka, she is one of the independent characters you can recruit in the game. As such, she is not part of any school of thought like most of the other characters. Still, recruiting her is straightforward. We’ll show you how you can get Yunaka in Fire Emblem Engage and touch on how she plays in combat.
How to Get Yunaka in Fire Emblem Engage
Yunaka is a charming young woman. She oftentimes speaks in curious phrases, but she always seems in high spirits and easy to talk to. She truly does live up to the term of a thief with a heart of gold. Plus, she’s solid in combat in aggressive and supportive roles, making her far from being among the not-so-pleasant characters in the game.
If you want to recruit Yunaka in Fire Emblem Engage, all you have to do is follow along with the storyline. You will encounter Yunaka in Chapter 6: The Stolen Ring. During this, Alear will meet Yunaka, who will soon join up with your party.
And that is all it takes to recruit her in the game. It happens automatically, so there is nothing particularly special that you have to do to get her.

How to Use Yunaka in Fire Emblem Engage
Yunaka starts out with the Thief class. However, like other characters, you can always change her class to suit different needs.
In her Thief class, she’s an S-tier. So, it’s a reliable class to stay at if you want. Even so, she works great with the advanced class Wolf Knight. This class allows her to take great advantage of the Hobble skill.
No matter what class you decide on for Yunaka in Fire Emblem Engage, what makes her the most valuable is her first skill: Trained to Kill. This carries with her throughout any class, not just Thief. In the chance she gets an Avo bonus from the terrain she stands on, she will gain +15 in Crit rate.
The key to utilizing Yunaka’s skills once you get her is understanding how to attack enemies. She’s great at covert strikes. So, don’t go head-on into an enemy and expect her to perform perfectly. Keep her out of the way until there’s an opening for her to land a critical, lethal blow. Because of this, consider using support emblems on Yunaka like Leif. Leif works especially well at combining with her Trained to Kill skill in terms of critical damage.
