Hi-Fi Rush is an action rhythmic game set in a cyberpunk-themed world where you end up fighting a corporation called Vandelay. How to Parry in Hi-Fi Rush
The Parry system isn’t available from the beginning of the game. After you’ve reached a certain point in the game, a series of new enemies will be introduced that will only be defeated after parrying their attack.
There is even a boss fight that can only be defeated by parrying her attack, so it is best to practice parrying beforehand. As for parrying, the mechanism is quite simple, but the execution is one of the hardest parts of Hi-Fi Rush.
To parry an attack, you must press B on your controller or anything you’ve set it for on your keyboard. In general, there are two different situations where you can parry attacks. The first one is during normal combats, where you can choose whether to parry attacks or not.
But in the second situation, you have to parry attacks because there is no other way of defeating the enemies. The most common of them is the laser bots. You have to parry their attacks. If you want to perform a good parry, then your timing must be precise.
During normal combat situations, you will see a brief purple flash when the enemies try to attack. That is the moment you must hit the B button to parry. As for enemies like laster bots, you will see a box appear on top of the enemy’s head with some lightning bolts.
These lightning bolts indicate how many times they strike. But the thing you must focus on is the rhythm they appear in the box. Because you have to hit the parry button exactly in that order to do a good parry. Once the pink circle reaches the blue circle, the attacks will start, and you have to parry them.

For instance, the first lightning bolt appears, then there is little max, and then two more appear rapidly. This means you have to hit the B button once when the pink circle reaches the blue one, then wait for one beat, and then press the button two times rapidly.
