Transmog System Explained: How to Change Wardrobe in Diablo 4
You can change your character’s wardrobe in Diablo 4 and transmog it as early as you enter the first major town of Kyovashad. It will only take you a few missions before you gain access to the city. Salvage the armor you want to transmog in Diablo 4.
Open the map, and you will notice a wardrobe symbol and an open chest in the top left of the town map. The chest will contain all salvaged armor that you have collected so far in the game. Through wardrobe, you will be able to change your character’s looks.
You can choose from nine different pigments and several style variants. The gear you can transmog is a helmet, gloves, pants, boots, and chest. You can’t transmog weapons.
Every major town will have a wardrobe as you progress through the game, and you will be free to use and transmog your gear in Diablo 4.
If you want new looks to transmog to in Diablo 4, you will need to salvage your armor. To do this, you need to pay a visit to a Blacksmith. You can mark the gear you don’t use as junk, then press the icon to salvage all junk and unlock the new transmog looks.
While wardrobe serves to trasmog your armor look, you can also change the general look of your character if you are not satisfied or just want a change.
