While Call of Duty entered the trend of the battle royal genre later compared to other studios and companies, the popularity of its free-to-play game battle royal, Warzone, made it one of the most popular games in recent years. Now, after many years, players can enjoy Warzone 2.0, which is the improved and bigger version of the original game. Like in the previous game, players can customize their UI, and other settings, and here is how to turn on Contextual Tap in Warzone 2.0.
How to Turn on Contextual Tap in Warzone 2.0
Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 allows players to customize their UI, control layout, and much more that would make the game more suitable for them. The contextual tap setting is one of the most popular options players can turn on in Warzone games.
What this option does is it reads which action has a priority at that moment and performs that. For instance, when you are rushing toward a door and press the key, the game would automatically realize you want to open the door and not reload your weapon or other action you might have set for that button.
This option not only saves a lot of time but also helps players in order not to miss the better weapon or the ammunition required for the already equipped gun. You might have already tried to turn on this option but couldn’t find it.
This is because the name of Contextual Tap has been changed to Interact/Reload Behavior in Warzone 2.0. To turn it on, follow these steps:
- Go to the settings menu and from there select the Controller tab.
- In the Controller, tab scroll down and open the Interact/Reload Behavior Menu
- Depending on your preference choose Prioritize Interact or Prioritize Reload
Prioritize Interact means that you will pick up loot, open bags, or use doors by just tapping the button. Prioritize Reload will do the same thing for reloading. Now depending on which one you prefer and which suits your play style, you should between them.
