Marvel’s Midnight Suns is the latest superhero-themed game that will definitely please Marvel fans all over the world. However, unlike most real-time action-oriented titles out there, this one is created by Firaxis Games, the developer behind the famous alien invasion tactical game series XCOM. Nevertheless, you can expect tons of fan-favorite heroes instead of nameless cannon fodder as your party members in this game. Considering the supernatural and occult theme, Doctor Strange the Sorcerer Supreme is the perfect addition to Marvel’s Midnight Suns roster. Here is how you can unlock him in the game.
How to Unlock Doctor Strange in Marvel’s Midnight Suns
- How to unlock: Complete the Tutorial Mission.
Sorcerer Supreme fans don’t have to wait long in order to unlock and use Doctor Strange as part of your Midnight Suns team. Stephen Strange, along with Eric Cross “Blade” Brooks, are the first two party members that The Hunter (the customizable main character) gets when starting the game. Even before you customize your own Hunter and are able to select missions from the Mirror Table, though, you will have to take command of Doctor Strange, Iron Man, and Captain Marvel as part of the tutorial.
Doctor Strange is described as a Support-type Hero whose skills are centered around the game’s Heroism mechanics. Heroism is acquired by playing Attack and Skill cards. By building up Heroism, Doctor Strange’s skills will be upgraded and become much more devastating.
Use his passive Greater Good skill (at the start of every turn, has a chance to generate Heroism) together with other Heroes that can stack up Heroism fast to fully utilize Doctor Strange’s mystical powers. Still, he is versatile enough that his skillset can mix well with other types of teams too.
