To unlock Taninoud Shrine in the East Hebra Sky Archipelago, you must retrieve its green crystal in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom. Once activated, the ancient sanctum will send Link on “The East Hebra Sky Crystal.” This Shrine Quest involves the recovery of a crystal from a nearby island. Naturally, bringing your own tools and Zonai Devices to this puzzle can offer some leeway in how you retrieve the crystal. Where To Find Taninoud Shrine in TotK
As noted above, the Taninoud Shrine location is in the East Hebra Sky Archipelago. This archipelago floats directly above the North Tabantha Snowfield, with Pikida Stonegrove Skyview Tower as the nearest fast-travel launch point. For further clarification, Taninoud Shrine is located between the Rising Island Chain and the Top Floor of North Lomei Castle in Tears of the Kingdom.

How To Complete The East Hebra Sky Crystal in Zelda TotK
After you’ve started “The East Hebra Sky Crystal” Shrine Quest in Tears of the Kingdom, you should first approach the island’s launcher. Turn the launcher to have it face the sky island to the north before propelling Link into the air. After landing atop the island, you must leap off the eastern ledge. Your goal is to glide into the vine-covered alcove beneath this sky island.
Once you’ve discovered the alcove, use a sharp weapon to cut away the dead vine-like roots blocking the entrance. Look for another set of hanging vines deeper inside to find the crystal to the Shrine. Once you have the crystal, you’ll need to use the floating platform in the cave to navigate back to Taninoud Shrine.Â
Luckily, this sky island’s hidden alcove has all the Zonai Devices you need to propel and steer the floating platform to your destination. Using your Ultrahand, attach the Fans on the back with the Steering Stick on the top. Place the fuel cells wherever you please and return to Taninoud Shrine to complete “The East Hebra Sky Crystal.” Within Rauru’s Blessing, you will receive a Treasure Chest with Topaz and a Light of Blessing for your effort.Â
