Want to know how to use the Any Means Necessary perk in Dead by Daylight? Any Means Necessary is a frequently seen Survivor perk in high-lobby games, but many DbD players still don’t know what it is for. Any Means Necessary is a non-cooldown perk owned by Yui Kimura. It’s often known for giving Survivors a second chance to loop Killers and is incredibly useful when used correctly. We’ll break down how to use the Any Means Necessary perk in Dead by Daylight and what builds this perk goes best with.
What is Any Means Necessary in Dead by Daylight?
Any Means Necessary is a perk that resets a dropped Pallet to its upright position after 6/5/4 seconds. Besides, you can see the Auras of all dropped Pallets on the map, except the destroyed ones. To restore a dropped Pallet, press and hold the Active Ability. If the Killer breaks the Pallet, you cannot reset it. Any Means Necessary used to have a cooldown, but you no longer have to wait to reset Pallets.
How to Use Any Means Necessary?
Any Means Necessary is very simple to use, making it one of the most popular perks in Dead by Daylight. Once you’re sure there’s no Killer around, you can reset a dropped Pallet to give yourself and other Survivors a chance to re-establish dominance in that area for the loop. This perk is particularly powerful in critical situations, allowing you to reuse God Pallets.
You can also use this perk while the Killer is chasing you, but it would be too risky. If you’re in a position where the Killer can’t reach you like they have to Vault and go around, this will give you time to reset a dropped Pallet. Once successfully reset, that Pallet will save you twice the loop time. Any Means Necessary is one of the best perks in DbD when used at the right time and place.
