After almost ten years of development hell and changing between multiple hands, the new Halo television series has finally arrived on screens on Paramount+. The new show will be somewhat of a departure from the famed video game franchise most are familiar with. So, what is happening with the Halo television series, and how can you watch it?
Not the Halo you grew up with
Turning off the established timeline that fans of the game know. Instead, the Halo television series is set in a separate universe from the video game franchise. At this point, it’s unknown if the creators will use any elements from the games.
Yet, not having to conform to the set universe of the game may give the character and creators more room to explore. Giving viewers an eye into the different areas from the Halo universe not seen in the games.
Where can you catch the new Halo television series?
So, how can you watch the new Halo series and see the latest episode of the military space opera? The Halo television series will air Thursdays on Paramount+ at 12 AM PT/ 3 AM ET. Halo will premier tomorrow, the 24th of March, and the expected run will be nine weeks.
Those who’ve never used the Paramount+ service can get a free 7-day trial when signing up for it. After that, subscription plans for Paramount+ start a 4.99/month. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can grab a 30-day subscription to the streaming service and watch the Halo television series.
The Paramount+ television series has already greenlit the second season. As of this moment, there is no announced premiere date for the next season of the television show. But, it does show that Paramount+ seems to be pleased with the outcome even before the show has premiered.
