Hulu has ordered an eight-episode season of Tiny Beautiful Things with Kathryn Hahn (WandaVision) in a leading role. The ABC Signature and Hello Sunshine half-hour comedy will be run and executive produced by Liz Tigelaar (Little Fires Everywhere). Reese Witherspoon, Laura Dern, Lauren Neustadter, Stacey Silverman, and Jayme Lemons will executive produce, along with Strayed and Hahn.
The Hulu show with Kathryn Hahn is based on Cheryl Strayed’s book of the same name. It was a series of columns she wrote anonymously to give out advice to people anonymously asking for help. The synopsis can be read below:
“Tiny Beautiful Things is about a woman who reluctantly becomes Dear Sugar — an anonymous, revered advice columnist — when her own life is falling apart. Told in multiple timelines with astonishing intimacy, nerve and candor, she excavates the beauty, struggle and humor in her own life to show us that we are not beyond rescue, that it’s our stories that will ultimately save us.”
