Hunt: Showdown has been a highly regarded game by a lot of people for the past two years, but the game has not been available on the PS4 yet. Today, we’re happy to announce that the wait for PS4 players is over. Publisher Deep Silver and developer Crytek have announced that their hit game Hunt: Showdown is now available on PS4. The game is available for purchase either digitally on the PlayStation Store or at retailers.
Hunt: Showdown is a bounty hunting game from the developers of the acclaimed Crysis game series. It’s a competitive first-person shooter that has you teaming up with one or two friends (or going solo) to hunt monstrous bounty targets. If you kill your bounty target though, don’t think it’s all over. You’ll have to fight your way out against the other players who want to claim the bounty you now have. Battle your way through A.I. and human opponents in a tense match where one mistake could cost you everything.
In addition to this, Hunt: Showdown for the Xbox One is now available at all participating retailers. This allows all who want to join the hunt to pick their platform of choice and get in on the action. To commemorate both these releases, Deep Silver has created a launch trailer which you can watch here. If you’re already a player of Hunt: Showdown, you’re likely aware of the recent Fire Fight bundle that was released. If you haven’t heard of it, it’s a bundle that comes with two weapons which are a knife and a rifle. All proceeds until March 31st go towards the Australian fire relief effort. You can purchase the bundle on its official page.
That isn’t all for gaming news today. Xbox announced that eight new titles are coming to Xbox Game Pass for PC and Console, which you can read about here.
