Venturing into the uncanny atmosphere of Milton Haven, Desmond begins to experience a mind-bending turn of occurrences. He searches for answers in the tapes of his former patients, unveiling secrets of themselves the closer he gets to the truth. There’s even word of a talking cat around.

Through In Sound Mind‘s story teaser trailer, we can hear the bone-chilling dialogue of Desmond and his patients as we’re presented with snippets of ill-lit environments and anxiety-inducing figures. Brillant movements of light and sound are supplemented by a menacing score from The Living Tombstone. Much of In Sound Mind’s narrative is hidden from the trailer, giving enough curiosity and suspense to build before its future release date.

In Sound Mind is aiming for a 2021 release for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC. With the game’s Halloween announcement, eager fans are invited to download the free demo on the Steam page. It will feature the first patient’s tape, as well as give you an idea as to what to expect from the game’s dark fantasy elements.
In Sound Mind is being developed by indie studio We Create Stuff, the same team behind horror game Nightmare House and Portal: The Flash Version. Publishing will be conducted by Modus Games, known for other titles such as Skully, Override Mech City Brawl, and Remothered.
