One of the largest Eastern European independent game development competitions, Indie Cup W’22, opens submissions today. Developers can submit their games starting today until February 14th, competing for victory in various event nominations.
Industry experts are the ones who will be evaluating submissions at Indie Cup W’22 from Larian, Roblox, Focus Entertainment, Fellow Traveler, Ubisoft, NVIDIA, Wargaming, Owlcast Games, and 101XP, including others. The event brings together media, influences, and past winners to see the new submissions and offer a platform for new developers.
Indie Cup W’22 offers a spotlight for new developers
There will be various prizes for the winners of the Indie Cup W’22, some of which are powerful graphics cards from Unreal Engine PR services, conference tickets, services, and a special reward from Kefir Studios. Additionally, the winner will receive full project financing, development support, promotion, and long-term cooperation from Kefir Studios into the future.

- Rising Star
- Best Art
- Best Audio
- Critics Choice
- Streamers Choice
- Best Unreal Engine Game (In partnership with Unreal Engine)
Gathering 1261 games over the last six years, having more than 350 games participate annually. Indie Cup W’22 will also have an annual Steam event bringing millions of steam users to these games. Last year’s event Steam page can still be found. The store event is also held on GOG.com and Humble Store.
However, The event only accepts submissions from 22 eligible countries, including Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Mongolia, Poland, Russia, Romania, Slovakia, Tajikistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, and Estonia.
