Infinity Ward has recently released the highly anticipated MW2 Season 2 Reloaded content for Modern Warfare 2 (MW2), which includes a vast amount of new content. However, there appears to be a mistake in the patch notes regarding the LM Nebula Barrel Attachment. The dev clarified in a recent announcement that this feature is planned for a future season, not part of the current one.
Season 2 Reloaded does not Contain the LM Nebula Barrel
Players were left confused when they couldn’t find the LM Nebula Barrel Attachment, which was incorrectly listed in the patch notes for Season 2 Reloaded of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (MW2). However, the developer has since clarified through a recent announcement, acknowledging the mistake and assuring players that this feature is not included in the current update but will be added in a future season.
You can find Infinity Ward‘s statement below:
”Our Season 02 Reloaded Patch Notes incorrectly featured the LM Nebula Barrel Attachment, which is actually coming to a future Season. We’ve amended the Patch Notes to reflect this, and thank you for your patience while we addressed this error. Sorry for the confusion.”
Like its predecessor, the game takes place in a realistic and modern setting. The campaign follows multi-national special operations unit Task Force 141 and Mexican Special Forces unit Los Vaqueros as they attempt to track down Iranian Quds Force Major and terrorist Hassan Zyani, who is in possession of American-made ballistic missiles. Powered by a new version of the IW engine, Modern Warfare II continues to support cross-platform multiplayer and also features a free-to-play battle royale mode, Warzone 2.0, a follow-up to the original Warzone.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
