During season 4 of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, which was filmed in Marrakech, Morocco, at the end of January, the reality stars were involved in a drama. According to People, 50-year-old Glanville allegedly took things too far by repeatedly kissing Manzo without her consent on the RHUGT set. A source revealed to the news outlet that the kiss was “unwanted.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills did not stop even after noticing Manzo’s distress. There were allegations that physical boundaries were crossed by the reality star that Manzo felt was serious and uncomfortable. According to Page Six, Glanville also touched the entrepreneur’s chest and genital area. There appears to be no video of the altercation, but the cast’s mics were on, so there is audio of the altercation.
Representatives from Peacock and Shed Media gave a statement to ET that the production was on the case. According to them, a comprehensive review of the case was already launched and they are “taking appropriate action.” According to reports, a decision was made by the production to remove Glanville from the show early. Later that night, Manzo also made the decision to also exit the show.
The reality star did not want to continue filming the trip anymore. Co-stars like Vicki Gunvalson, Eva Marcille, Phaedra Parks, Camille Mever, and others were reportedly in support of the TV personality’s decision to exit the show. Filming on the series continued for a few days after the incident before it wrapped up.
What Is The RHUGT Season 4 All About?
The RHUGT is filled with stars from the Bravo franchise, and the Girls Trip is a way of bringing these Housewives together again. Manzo departed the Real Housewives of New Jersey in 2013 after season 5. After that, the entrepreneur was featured in the spinoff series Manzo’d With Children.
Since the show Manzo’d With Children went off the air in 2016, season 4 of RHUGT marks the reality star’s return to the Housewives franchise. However, Glanville has appeared on the Bravo series on and off. Representatives of both reality stars are yet to comment on the incident.
