Inside Camille Lamb and Alissa Humber’s Feud on Below Deck

One of the highlights of Below Deck season 10 is the feud between stews Camille Lamb and Alissa Humber. If there ever were an opposite to love at first sight, then the relationship between Camille Lamb and Alissa Humber would perfectly fit the bill. There has been no love lost between the two from the moment they began working together on St. David.

Interestingly, Camille and Alissa were part of a couple of new faces that made their debut in season 10 of Below Deck. Still, anyone would be forgiven for thinking the duo had a stormy history outside the show based on their instant disdain for each other. As the season unfolded, Camille and Alissa’s relationship only deteriorated. The two clashed on several occasions, and nothing anybody did seemed to help the duo sheath their swords.

Camille’s Attitude Toward Work Infuriated Alissa

Camille and Alissa’s feud has been one of the major talking points of the ongoing season 10 of Below Deck. Alissa has notably taken exception to Camille’s lack of respect for her and other crew members. She has also complained about Camille’s laziness and not putting in as much effort as she and other co-workers. Camille, on her part, has not been very open to taking corrections from anybody, much less Alissa. The duo clashed earlier in the season during the 3rd episode when Alissa corrected Camille for not doing her job appropriately.

In a clip posted on YouTube by Bravo, Camille seemed to be irked by Alissa double-checking her work. However, Alissa maintained her stand and ensured Camille did the assignment correctly. Later, while speaking to the Below Deck cameras, Alissa described Camille as childish. In her words:

“Camille just doesn’t want to do her job but she doesn’t want to be corrected, which is just childish.”

This episode perfectly captured the cat and mouse kind of relationship that existed between the two. And things still got a lot more dramatic.

Camille and Alissa Clashed Over a Broken Glass

Throughout the season, Camille and Alissa continued to be buttheads, and in a more recent episode, the duo clashed over a broken glass. Again, Camille broke another glass, and when Alissa told her not to put it with the regular garbage and tried to explain how to properly trash a broken glass, Camille stormed off. The episode did not go down well with Captain Sandy Yawn, who stepped in and gave Camille a stern warning — she either steps up or gets shown the door. Camille later took to her Instagram, where she joked about the whole situation. 

Captain Sandy Recently Had to Separate Camille and Alissa

Camille’s attitude on the show drew criticism from fans and even her co-workers. Alissa is definitely not a saint, but the relationship between them could be better managed if only Camille was more dedicated to her job. Recently, the back and forth between Camille and Alissa peaked as the two fought in front of charter guests. Thankfully, Captain Sandy quickly diffused the situation before it escalated.

Sandy emphasized to the girls how unprofessional it was for them to fight in front of guests. She proceeded to give them a stern warning that they would both be fired if such actions ever repeated themselves. For Below Deck fans watching the show, the animosity between Camille and Alissa was a bit concerning. Although Camille’s attitude later led to Captain Sandy firing her, she and Alissa never got along till her exit.
