Humans are interesting creatures, yet they still face their greatest demons on a daily basis. That’s what players will begin to experience with Insomnia: Theater in the Head, a new psychological point-and-click title that explores the titular sleep disorder. The game features hand-drawn animations and a message for many to lend their ears to. Insomnia: Theater in the Head will arrive sometime in the future, but Steam players can try out the demo now through the page. For more info on Insomnia, we invite you to peruse onward.
Toss and Turn Until You Can Wake Up in Insomnia: Theater in the Head
Insomnia: Theater in the Head plays out like slideshows while players view the world through the protagonist’s head. Our poor hero is having an intense struggle with sleep, to the point where she can’t fall into a decent slumber. Instead, she sees fantasies that mess with her anxiety and overall worrisome state of mind. By interacting with these theaters via point-and-click, we can help her solve puzzles that can ultimately free her from the torment.
As aforesaid in the beginning, Insomnia: Theater in the Head features original hand-drawn art. It comes from the same chief artist who worked on A Perfect Day, A Perfect Studio‘s previous title. To fully grasp the creative experience with Insomnia: Theater in the Head, an announcement trailer was released to showcase the art and gameplay. This gives us a nice notion of what to anticipate, along with the demo for any interested folks in the new point-and-click adventure. You can watch the trailer now right here.
As of now, there is no release window for players to rely on. Since A Perfect Day came to us earlier this year on February 25, 2022, it’s a possibility that we could see the game arrive before the year comes to a close. Plus, the Steam demo is out now for Insomnia, so we could potentially see its release relatively soon.
