The new Saints Row reboot is launching this week. Featuring the staple cooperative mode with a brand new locale, a set of quirky characters, and a refresh to the gang-busting narrative, now fans of open-world and co-op games are currently wondering: will the Saints Row reboot come to PC and Xbox Game Pass? Continue reading below to find out the answer.
Will Volition Release Saints Row for Xbox Game Pass?
At the time being, the answer is no. The Saints Row reboot won’t be released for PC and Xbox Game Pass when it launches on August 23 for current-gen PlayStation and Xbox consoles as well as Stadia and PC through Epic Games Store. Publisher Deep Silver and developer Volition has not yet announced any intention to release it on the service.
Then again, the subscription service itself is widely known for haphazardly adding and removing games without warning, so it might get added into its line-up one day. After all, two previous entries in the series, Saints Row: The Third and Saints Row IV, have been added and delisted from Xbox Game Pass before.
Nevertheless, I suggest you do not hold your breath, especially if you’re a PC Game Pass subscriber. Deep Silver and Volition took Epic Games Store’s one-year exclusivity deal. With that in mind, it’s hard to gauge whether PC Game Pass users will be able to play it for free in the near future or not. Keep an eye on Game Pass and Volition‘s official social media pages for updates for the time being. Of course, if the game is ultimately released for the service, we’ll let you know as well.
