The Diablo franchise is among the most popular series and RPG games ever made. Fans can’t wait to play the newest entry of the series, Diablo 4. Until then they can see what the studio has been making for them by playing the open beta. If you want to play Diablo 4 open beta and wondering if it is free or not, then you’ve come to the right place.
Is the Diablo 4 Open Beta Free?
Good news for the fans of Diablo 4 since they can now play the open beta of the game and see what will be the end product of it. Usually, open beta means that all players can play the beta and give their feedback. But it is a little more complicated than that in the case of Diablo 4.
The short answer to whether Diablo 4 open beta is free or not, is that no, it is not free. The open beta of Diablo 4 is only available for players that have pre-ordered the game already. It doesn’t make sense because open beta means that beta is open to everyone to experience.
So if you want to play the open beta of Diablo 4 you have to pre-order the game. The beta is available for all major platforms, so you don’t have to worry about that.
But if you don’t want to pre-purchase the game, there will be another beta available from the 24 to the 26 March where everyone can experience it and don’t have to pre-order the game.
There will be some limitations of course. The level cap of both beta tests will be 25, and you won’t be able to create more than 10 characters. You will be able to complete the Prologue and Act 1 of Diablo 4 in these betas.
