Many country music stars have shared their heartbreak since news broke that a lady opened fire on people at the Covenant School in Nashville. Kramer joined the slash of devastated citizens as the protest against relaxed gun laws continues.
Jana Kramer’s Message On The Nashville School Shooting
Kramer took to Instagram to confirm her children’s safety after the school shooting on Monday, March 27. The One Tree Hill alum wrote: “Jolie and Jace are okay.”
Kramer shares daughter Jolie, 7, and son Jace, 4, with her ex-husband Mike Caussin. The mom of two explained in her post that she was heartbroken for the family of the victims.
The country music star also noted that she would never understand why such events happened. She ended her messages by pleading for viewers’ prayers.
What Measures Have Been Taken So Far?
President Joe Biden released a statement shortly after the shooting and he was candid about the effects of gun possession on the community. The President explained:
“We have to do more to stop gun violence.”
He noted that more steps have to be taken in order to keep the school safe. Dr. Jill Biden also addressed the shooting and delivered a speech to a conference of city leaders in Washington, D.C. The 71-year-old first lady noted that was out of words and she stands with Nashville in prayer.
Jana Kramer’s social media message joined a lengthy line of statements from many citizens following the Nashville School shooting. The Monday, March 27, school killing is not the first in recent years.
In May 2022, 19 students and two teachers were killed after being shot at a school. The incident happened in Uvalde, Texas. The attacker was a Uvalde High School student Salvador Ramos.
