Selling Sunset Season 6 was full of drama; so much so that Jason Oppenheim is still recovering from the events! The latest trailer teased a few snippets that caught viewers’ attention and suggests it’s definitely going to prove a fun watch. Meanwhile, OG cast member Oppenheim, has explained he’s yet to recover from the events of the new season. Oppenheim took the time to detail how he feels as the season premiere draws ever closer.
Jason Oppenheim Still Recovering From Selling Sunset Season 6
A drama-filled Selling Sunset Season 6 has the Oppenheim group president, Jason Oppenheim, still recovering. Oppenheim disclosed this to Page Six while attending the recently held Formula 1 Miami motor race. The 46-year-old added that the last season was so over the top that he only just watched it. Oppenheim’s ex, Mary Fitzgerald, who was with him at the event, also backed up his claims.
“It’s probably going to be the best season. The drama is double what we’ve ever seen before”, the Selling Sunset star added.
Inside Selling Sunset Season 6
Oppenheim and Fitzgerald’s claims of drama stem from the interesting affairs that played out on the show. The first was with Chrishell Stause who had some explaining to do about her latest relationship. The OG reality star recently tied the knot with sweetheart, G Flip, following their one-year romance. The 41-year-old who previously dated Oppenheim denied that she is undergoing a “midlife crisis“. Instead, Stause called her experience an “awakening“. “Goals don’t change”, she said in the trailer.
New cast member Bre Tiesi, who came on board with Nicole Young, also brought some drama. The model had her moments with a fellow cast member, Chelsea Lazkani. In Selling Sunset’s trailer, Tiesi and Lazkani have a tiff over the former’s relationship with TV personality Nick Cannon.
“Whatever you give me is what you’re gonna get. I mean business, I’m about my business, and I’m here to f—k s—t up“, the mother of one said in a teaser for the Netflix reality show.
Mary Fitzgerald Thinks Bre Tiesi Is a Great Addition
Meanwhile, despite Fitzgerald’s apprehension over drama, the realtor likes that Tiesi is on the show. “I was a little worried when she first came”, she said of Tiesi. “I was like, ‘I can’t do any more drama … Please don’t give me more drama'”, the Oppenheim group executive said to Design Scene this year. Tiesi, who shares a son with Nick Cannon, joined the show just a few weeks after giving birth. The 32-year-old claimed that she was tired of the modeling industry and decided to change jobs. She expressed her excitement at getting to meet with other moms on the show while affirming her hard-working nature. The TV personality has been signed for seasons 6 and 7 of the Netflix reality show.
As the leader of the Oppenheim group, it is not surprising that Jason Oppenheim is still recovering from the events of the last season. Hopefully, fans will find Selling Sunset Season 6 as engaging as the cast think it is when it finally premieres.
