Jennifer Aniston Honors Dad With Heartfelt Tribute
“Sweet Papa…John Anthony Aniston. You were one of the most beautiful humans I ever knew,” Jennifer wrote on Instagram alongside a series of old and recent photos of her and her dad.
She continued by stating that the veteran actor died on November 11 (a significant date). Jennifer noted that her dad died peacefully, adding that he died without any pain.
“You always had perfect timing. That number will forever hold an even greater meaning for me now,” Jennifer wrote in her tribute.
“I’ll love you till the end of time,” Jennifer concluded as she told her dad not to forget to pay a visit.
Jennifer Aniston’s Dad Received The Daytime Emmys Lifetime Achievement Award Before His Death
Before the Days of Our Lives star’s death at 89, he received the Daytime Emmys Lifetime Achievement Award in June. The award was in recognition of his lengthy involvement with the soap opera. Jennifer represented her dad, who couldn’t attend the ceremony. She honored her dad’s remarkable accomplishment.
“It’s an opportunity not only to pay tribute to a true icon in the daytime television world but it’s also a chance to recognize the life-long achievements of a great and well-respected actor,” Jennifer Aniston said in her dad’s honor.
Jennifer praised John as she added that for 30 years, his dedication to the daytime television series earned him respect and admiration. She concluded by saying that John Aniston’s career was a definition of a lifetime achievement.
The veteran actor is best known for creating and recurring in the role of Victor Kiriakis on the NBC daytime drama series Days of Our Lives. He created the series in July 1985. In addition to Jennifer, his surviving family members include his wife, Sherry Rooney, and their son Alex Aniston.
