John Barrowman’s Malcolm Merlyn will be confronting more than just Team Arrow.
Malcolm Merlyn (played by John Barrowman) is a recurring villain in the CW’s Arrow. Having battled Oliver Queen since season 1, Malcolm is one of the most seasoned villains of DC’s tv-verse. And now that Supergirl has moved to the CW, there are plans for epic crossovers between the four shows.

And from here, it’s a short hop to crossing over with Doctor Who as well…
However, TVline is reporting that it isn’t just the heroes who will be crossing over between shows. John Barrowman will be making his presence felt on all four shows;
” Barrowman will continue to appear on Arrow and maintain series regular status — but across all of the superhero shows executive-produced by Greg Berlanti, including The Flash and Legends.”
John Barrowman’s character is the Arrowverse’s equivalent of Lex Luthor or the Joker. A recurring villain who keeps the heroes on their toes. The fact that he will apparently be appearing on Supergirl as well raises some interesting questions. Will Malcolm be jumping between universes, or is Supergirl going to be somehow incorporated into the same universe? Could this be a consequence of the events of the Flash season 2 finale?
Either way, few people will be complaining about more John Barrowman.John Barrowman
