It was announced today by Lionsgate that John Wick 4, starring Keanu Reeves, Â has been pushed back once more. The fourth entry in the series was supposed to be released back on May 21, 2021, but due to COVID-19, the studio was forced to move it back until May 27, 2022. Unfortunately, with the rise in cases of the new Omicron variant, John Wick 4 will be pushed back again for the new date of March 24, 2023.
Due to the pandemic back in 2020, this isn’t the first film to be pushed back. With a new variant rising, we can expect more films to be pushed back from the Hollywood studios.
John Wick 4 is a highly anticipated film lead by the star power of Keanu Reeves. The first John Wick was a box office success opening at $86 million worldwide. Since then the film has had many great actors appear in the franchise to date! We have had the privilege of seeing actors like John Leguizamo, Willem Dafoe, Ian McShane, Lance Reddick, Laurence Fishburne, Ruby Rose, Common, Halle Berry, and Anjelica Huston in this action-packed franchise.
John Wick 4 is set to feature Bill Skarsgård and Hiroyuki Sanada joining the incredible cast.
Keanu Reeves has been keeping busy filming famous franchises like John Wick. Keanu Reeves is starring in the newest entry in The Matrix, The Matrix Resurrections, in theaters now. Keanu Reeves is not the only actor reprising his role in the new Matrix movie. Carrie-Anne Moss and Jada Pinkett Smith have also returned in their roles along with new faces to the franchise, welcoming Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jonathan Groff, Neil Patrick Harris, and Christina Ricci to the cast.

Although, we must wait another year for John Wick. We can enjoy the previous three films until then. John Wick 4 will be released in theaters on March 24, 2023!
