Story
The first episode of this Jojo’s spin-off will be adapting the Millionaire Village story. The chapter follows Rohan and Izumi as they navigate a strange, etiquette-obsessed village. The second episode will
be based on Ballad Kitaguni’s short story Kushagara. In Kitaguni’s story, Rohan receives a peculiar request from a fellow mangaka, Juugo Shishi. The third and final episode will be on the manga chapter D.N.A. The manga spin-off follows Rohan Kishibe, a dedicated mangaka who gains inspiration from the bizarre (I’m sorry.) situations that he often finds himself in. He considers “reality” as a great source of authentic material for his work.JoJo’s anime studio, David Production, had previously adapted two Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan stories as OVAs: Millionaire Village and Mutsukabe Hill. Earlier this year, a premium Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan DVD/Blu-ray OVA set was announced. Two of the OVAs, The Run, and The Confessional were toured around Japan. However, future dates were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, as was the case with many other events in 2020. Are you looking forward to watching this new miniseries?
