The Queer Eye star Jonathan Van Ness will host the new Netflix series Getting Curious. The series shares the same name as his podcast he started back in 2015, in which Van Ness explores things he’s curious about. The reality series will also explore what makes Van Ness curious. World of Wonder will produce Getting Curious; this is the same company that has produced RuPaul’s Drag Race. Van Ness has rightfully developed a solid fan base from contributing to the Netflix series Queer Eye. Now, fans will be able to spend some more time with him.
The official logline of the series reads, “From skyscrapers to bugs, or from gender identity to snacks, each episode follows Jonathan as he meets with experts in various fields to uncover complexities in a wide range of subjects.” The new Netflix show will have celebrity guests and will cover various topics with expert commentary.
Jonathan Van Ness Branches out with series Getting Curious
Van Ness is no one-trick pony. He is an amazing hairstylist, LGBTQ+ warrior and will now host his own series. Season 6 of the Netflix series Queer Eye will premiere on December 31. The Fab 5 will be heading to Texas for the newest season. Getting Curious will feature episodes: “Who Built the Panama Canal?,” “How Sharp Is the History of Scissors?,” and “What’s the Cure for Vaccine Misinformation?”. Not only are the titles snappy, but the subjects are very relevant. Fans got a glimpse of Van Ness on a personal level when he shared personal details of his only life during episodes of Queer Eye. Getting Curious will be educational for viewers and the inquisitive side of Jonathan Van Ness. People will have to wait and see what adventures Van Ness will take viewers on and what will be learned along the way.
