Kaguya-sama: Love is War author Aka Akasaka announced on Thursday that he intends to stop working as a manga author. This was later explained that he wants to focus solely on writing. He intends for Kaguya-sama: Love is War to be the last manga he was responsible for drawing. Lastly, Akasaka added that he still plans to draw as a relaxing hobby.
The author also noted that while the Kaguya-sama: Love is War manga recently ended, there is some foreshadowing for a future story. Akasaka confirmed that as an author, he is working to “make good” on that foreshadowing “in the best way possible.”
