Kanye West pulled a no-show for a recently scheduled deposition in his divorce from Kim Kardashian. Kim and Kanye’s divorce proceedings started in February 2021 after Kim filed for divorce. The ex-couple, who share four children, were married for four years before their relationship fell through. Get the details below.
Kim And Kanye’s Divorce Proceedings Still Ongoing
In court documents filed earlier this week and obtained by Page Six, Kanye West pulled a no-show for the November 16 meeting.
Meanwhile, Kanye has been given another opportunity to sit for a deposition at the office of Kim’s attorney, Laura Wasser. The documents state that he has to attend the meeting scheduled for November 29.
Failure to do that will raise issues of whether he will “be permitted to offer any testimony, oral or written,” to be heard by the judge before the former couple’s trial begins.
The Yeezy founder and his ex are still in settlement negotiations. However, according to the filing, there are hopes they will figure out all remaining issues — “or at least limit the issues” — ahead of their trial on December 14.
Kanye And Kim No Longer Communicate
Kanye and Kim proceeded with their divorce amicably until the Flashing Lights rapper’s erratic behavior started. This was as the 45-year-old began going on anti-Semitic rants and spewing hate toward Kim’s now ex-boyfriend Pete Davidson.
Kanye and Kim’s divorce was finalized in March, but their relationship took a hit a long time ago. An insider also reported that they haven’t spoken to each other in several weeks. Moreover, all communication regarding the kids’ schedules is coordinated through assistants.
“She has had enough of his conspiracy theories, bullying and hateful rhetoric,” the source continued, noting the Kardashians star was upset by Ye’s behavior.
Hate speech is never OK or excusable. I stand together with the Jewish community and call on the terrible violence and hateful rhetoric towards them to come to an immediate end.

The SKIMS founder publicly condemned Kanye’s “hate speech” herself, writing on social media:
“I stand together with the Jewish community and call on the terrible violence and hateful rhetoric towards them to come to an immediate end.”
However, the 42-year-old and her ex-husband were recently seen talking at their son Saint’s flag football game. This led to speculations that the duo was making efforts to communicate again.
Kanye West needs to pull himself together for the sake of his children, at least. Friends of the music legend have repeatedly told him to go to therapy. Hopefully, he will do the right thing soon for his and his family’s sake.
