Unfortunately, some people try their hardest to make life absolutely horrible for those around them. It doesn’t matter what it is; these types of entitled people love to both hear their own voices and create scenes. What’s worse is that these people try to target those who can’t fend for themselves for various reasons. Fortunately, one such incident involving a passenger in a rideshare vehicle was recorded and later put on Reddit.
The video takes place inside a vehicle, with the camera specifically pointed at a woman seated in the backseat. She begins to scream at the man driving that it was disrespectful of him to identify her as a ‘miss’ when thanking her for choosing the rideshare service he works for. She became so focused on the label that her explanations began to make little sense, saying that the man has no right to call her that since he doesn’t know her, nor is he family.
Despite the assumption of one’s gender being a genuine fear that some people have, that’s not what’s happening here. The woman seems to be more upset about the fact that the driver is trying to understand what he did wrong because it doesn’t seem to be an issue of gender identity in the slightest. The most upvoted reply in the comments section depicts what everyone watching the video is likely thinking:
“This is what’s wrong with the world today.”
At some point in the video, the man genuinely becomes rude to the woman, commenting on her lack of education and making her talk in circles. So, I’ll admit that he wasn’t helping the screaming situation at all. However, that still doesn’t make the woman’s actions okay. Now that the video has been posted to Reddit, I’d like to think that both the driver and his passenger will think twice the next time they try to act the way they did in the video in public.
