The Kate Moss testimony in the Johnny Depp trial has turned the tables even more in Depp’s favor. She was called to testify after Amber Heard mentioned that Johnny had pushed Moss down the stairs once. The thing is, Moss negated that and said Johnny had never put hands on her in a physical manner. Was this another moment of dishonesty from Heard, or is this just more confusion on her part?
The strangest part of this case is that initially, Depp’s lawyer couldn’t bring up Kate Moss. But once Heard did on the stand, you could see genuine excitement from Depp’s side. Once Heard mentioned her, that gave them the ability to call her to the stand as a witness. The reality is, the Kate Moss testimony was priceless, but not for Heard’s side.
The case at this point seems to very much lean in favor of Depp. It seems Kate Moss’s testimony drove that feeling home even further.
Moss Under a Rock
So the incident in question was from the mid-90s when Moss and Depp dated. The story Heard’s team told was that Depp had struck Moss while she was on the stairs of his (at the time) home. But Moss was quick to rebuttal. She told a very different tale of that night. She had said she slipped on the stairs because of the rain and fell. When that happened, she yelled.
This caused Depp to run out and scoop her up in his arms. He then proceeded to take her inside and get her immediate medical attention.
So what next for the Johnny Depp trial? Well, it seems the court of public opinion has a pretty good idea of how this will play out. Now we just have to wait and see.
